2 Monitors, yes... 2 keyboards and mice, what would be the point? If you are suggesting using a single computer for 2 separate users at the same time; I don't believe that is possible with any software currently available. The overhead to keep both users' apps running in realtime would just be too much.
If you simply want to use 2 monitors to extend the size of your desktop, that is easy to do. It requires either Linux or Windows 2000 / XP and either a dual output video card or two separate video cards in the same system (remember, one must be a PCI video card since almost all motherboards only have 1 AGP slot). |

| Yes you can use 2 monitors 2 keyboards 2 mice on the same PC
Yes you can use 2 monitors 2 keyboards 2 mice on the same PC or PPC to make the computer able to be used by 2 users at the same time.
What do you need: Of course a PC 2 monitors 1 PS/2 Keyboard and 1 Mouse and 1 USB Keyboard and 1 USB Mouse + Linux.
(I have tryed different solutions to do this in Windows but no success ... Microsoft sayd at some point that windoze XP SP 2 will somehow support this ... i doubt)
Now i have some links here for you where you will find all the information you will need to achive this: http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/multiuser/ http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplan...orials/3100/1/
And of course http://www.tldp.org/
If you need any help regarding this contact me at micky_dej@yahoo.com. |
