I switched to firefox and must say I like it.
Did you ever notice that it takes firefox longer to load pages? Especially if theres alot of images. That totally sucks.
And some sites act really weird?
I'd love to stay with firefox but if this keeps up......................... |

hmmm i think any browser you use if the site you are visiting has too much graphics in it it will take too long to load specially if your using a dial up connection...
i think if your using a microsoft operating sytem, you will always need IE for updates and other stuff. i use firefox and so far so good but i will be using IE ..... i have nothing againts any browser |

For the most part, Firefox loads pages much faster than IE for me. I have been a user for about a year now, maybe longer. The tabs is what did it for me. |

I can watch a page load and see images load horizontaly down the page and do the same with IE and the page is fully loaded right off the bat. I like firefox but I'm no good at waiting. |

Theres no contest here really. Firefox is head and shoulders above IE. Tab browsing alone wipes IE off the map. I use FF on my mac and its incredibly fast. Well, Im on a mac anyway so Im already ahead of the game.

There are these tweaks on firefox that you can do to make it load faster, like IE does. Look for it at this link
Try the pipelining too...

In light of recent events, i am looking into deploying firefox within my company. I have been using it for a few months now and really like it and find it easy to use. But i do have a few users with constant spyware problems that i hope to get rid of by switching them to firefox. I do know that there are still going to be a few situations where they will need IE, but for the most part they should be fine with firefox. |
