See the size of my toolbar. Yours is frickin' HUGE by comparison. So don't roll your eyes at me unless you have a good reason. Currently you lack that good reasoning. |

OuT thats not even a fair comparison
He's got tab bar turned on
He's got personal bar turned on
He has the menu bar (I can't see an easy to turn it off, but maybe possible in the text files which you yourself have modified)
Plus he has the ads
He chooses not to run in a minimalistic approach
If we wanted completely barebones you can run in full screen

See the little fish looking thing there. That's my menu bar as a drop down menu. Saves a ton of space. No text files to modify. Just a simple extention. Quote: |

Plus I just noticed, if you compare the two screen shots you may notice, Opera doesn't seem to do a very good job of blocking ads in pages. |

I definately have to agree with out....
The fact that Opera has a "free" version with ads to me is an insult. Either offer the product ad-free or not at all
Also, for those of us who dont have huge monitors with big resolutions (I'm using a 15" LCD), even that little ad-toolbar is a real annoyance and takes up alot of space.
Firefox all the way =) |

I do not mind the ads though as I have purchased items because of on page ads. Same with the relevant ads at teh top of opera. Very useful when browsing for car parts! |

I don't think we'll see Opera blocking ads, as that may be a bit hyppocritical since their free version uses them. I use Proxomitron and it does it nicely. Just use 127.0.0.1 on port 8080. |
