Anyway I can recover a shift-deleted file?

A few hours ago, I was in a hurry to burn some files to some CDs and accidentally shift deleted some wrong files (wasn't burnt yet). So I tried like 5+ undelete demo progs and as far as I see only stuff from may/june 04 and older listed there, the file I needed wasn't scanned by it... Anyone know a method to recover it?

i dont think you can do anything now, you should've had an auto-protector before, like norton systemworks..... the protected recycling bin doesnt delete anything until after a day or two or three etc....

well stop using the system immedately just more and more of a chance it will be overwritten

i think there are some utilities that can get stuff back that are free to tell you what it will get back but charge you to recover it not sure on any specific names though

Hmm... I think it was over written... It was about a gig in size and a smaller file that I deleted along with it showed up in an undelete program, but not the important one...
