Do you mean a keystroke/mouse logger, like a hacker, a private investigator, or a suspicious spouse would use? Or, do you mean a macro-type actions recorder like the one that came with Win3.x?

Do a google search using terms like "snoopware," "keystroke logger," "mouse logger," "keyboard logger," "keystroke tracker" etc. There's lots of commercial products.

Logitech Quickcam anyone? The resolution is kinda bad, but if you want something cheap, get one of those and film yourself with that.

Remember, unless you are streaming the video to this guy over the net in realtime, you are going to end up with some pretty big movie files to get to him. That means burning them to a CD and mailing them or uploading 50-500MB of information to him through some other method.

With all the hassle and expense using a video system - I'd suggest getting a copy of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and writing him a nice, long, detailed set of instructions, if you are having trouble with typing. It's a skill that will definitely be more useful than figuring out how to stream video over the internet so you can install lights on your car, in my opinion.

Jmichna, please read all the posts before you reply - it sounds like this guy wants a video recorder, not a keystroke logger...

If you want a screen video, use CAMSTUDIO. It's free.

I guess I didn't -- and still don't -- understand what "making glow under a car" meant... forgive my ignorance, please. My confusion came from the initial post regarding "...records what u do on ur desktop...." and making a video of this.

I noticed that the original post was less than adequate to provide anyone on here with enough information to help in this situation...

(This was the other reason I recommemded Mavis Beacon...)

I think what he's trying to do is make a video that will teach someone how to create light under a car in photoshop or somthing. You know, like those cds that you buy that'll guide you through the steps of how to do certain things in programs?

I guess we won't really know what he means until Op replies to clarify.
