| Anti- spy ware
I like spybot- Search and destroy, new Adware SE(free Ed.) (Lavasoft), spywareblaster, they do checking and a couple of them put protections in place.

Although ad-aware claims that they remove everything. It in fact misses on alot of items and it's not my recommended program. Same goes with Spybot S&D, buggy program does an ok job and finding some stuff but also misses greatly on many spyware items.
If you don't believe me here is a site that compares them: http://www.adwarereport.com/mt/archives/000004.html
and one more http://www.anti-spyware-review.topte...OVMTC=standard
Now just because a website compares them does it make it all true, no, but it does let many of you know where they stand based on the comparisons on how good each of those programs are. Most of the comparisons are not only based only how they worked and how effective they are but also on several other factors. |

While user reviews are hardly a definitive resource, the large number of bad results certainly can't be a good thing |
