How can that not be rude. You say i am immature when it comes to knowing about technology. Thats like telling Kansas they know nothing about classic rock.
| First, I did not say you were "immature" about it. Closer to ignorant about server technology. Not that you are dumb or anything like that. Just that you obviously havent been around it.
Either way, all of this is pure speculation. None of us can ID the drives from what we can see, so whatever is said is a guess. |

Don't know about you but I see some flat IDE cables running off of some of the drives, but some of them I don't see what kind of connection it's using.
Also, I see 2 PCI cards. |

Ok folks, SCSI and IDE can both have flat or round cables. Without being able to either count the wires or see the connector there is no way to judge by the cable.
SCSI and IDE can both have PCI controllers to. So, this also means nothing.
I wouldnt call HDD height a particularly accurate way to tell, since they are both 1" drives of the same form factor.
The ONLY way we will know is to use our own eyes on it. At this point, with all the wild speculation I wouldn't trust anyone to say it was theirs or they knew. |

Well, there's the answer. Obviously since he had IDE drives in another project, he would not use anything else on anything.
Why didn't I think of that? |

I hope that wasn't a sarcastic remark
I'm just saying that chances are greater he used IDE since he had started out with IDE. |
