Is DVD partitioning possible?

I have looked and of course found nothing. I would like to make some of my multi cdrom disks into one dvd. And lots of others Im sure would too. So the question is-"CAN" it be done. I know there is no app now but I mean is it literally impossible due to dvd spec? Or what? I figure if you can use it like a floppy as with nero and other apps (delete-drag and drop etc). Then why not the ability to partition it into 2 or more spaces that appear as multi sections on one disk?

So, do you want it to show up as 2 different cd-rom drives like when you partition a hard drive? I doubt this is possable, and if you could somehow partiton a dvd, it wouldn't show up as 2 cd rom drives. If you wanted to have more than one cd on the computer at one time I would recommend Alcohol 120% to build virtual cd-rom drives. It would really help if you would explain what and why you are trying to accomplish here.
