whats the diff?
Microsoft released an IT sp2 version, and theyre also suppose to have the other one for home or whatever idk, thro Auto update, well im tired of waiting, and im dnloaded the IT one. Whats the difference from this one, and the one thro auto update?

I dont think theres any differences in what it actualy installs. the IT one is just standalone design to be able to be distributed over an entire network.

Vhockey is right. If you want to install SP2 from the IT version go for it. Many on this board are not confident enough to install SP2 yet because of the bugs that have been reported. I have installed mine from the IT version without failure but I had nothing to lose since I can restore rather quickly if needed.

The difference is that the one you get via windows updates will not include the updates you already have, thereby decreasing the size. The IT version includes everything so it will work with whatever updates computers might have.
