Umm..i dontknow why but, or how to explain, ill try , on the tower there is a set of lights, tick, its storming..ill hurry, um theres one for the harddrive and im not sure what the othe rone is for, but its a lightbulb, and my ? is, why they dont light up, they are connected as for what i can see. There is a little black box at the bottom of the tower, but its surrounded by a bunch of wires, and i dont trust myself to move it. I think its for the neo liight inside, cuz theres a power switch for the light in the back, and the wires running from it to the black box, but yet idk if those lights are connected to the box or the mobo, looks to me theyre connected to the mobo, but whatever, neways, does neone know how i can get these lights to being working, they havent lit up since i got the bloody thing, and the Cybertron genious team didnt put much of a manual on this hog so im kinda left in the dark on much of it, but if you guys know how to turn them on, that would be great. help. |

I couldnt really make much sense out of that ramble... but are you are talking about the power and hard drive LEDs on the front of the case?
There are some little wires inside the case (coming from somewhere in the front of the case normally) with little black plastic female plugs on the end. White writing on the black plug normally specifies what each particular wire is for. These are placed on certain pins on the motherboard. Generally there is a section on the bottom of the motherboard and towards the front of the case, like an 10x2 grid of pins where LEDs and the system speaker and stuff are hooked up.
You'll have to look at the motherboard manual to figure out where they are supposed to go. You can prolly download it in PDF from from the mobo manufacturers website. |

If the LED wires are put on in reverse, the LEDs will not burn. Turn the connections around where they connect to the pin-outs and see if that will make them burn.
LEDs are a DC type "light", and will only light up if the two wires for each one has the positive and negative voltage going to the correct wire. If they are installed wrong, the LEDs are not damaged, they just will not burn.
A helpful hint...when asking for help here at the forums, please try to keep down the "rest of the story" We cannot see what all you are talking about, and it leaves us wondering just what you are asking. Try to pinpoint exactly what you need, and write specifics about that one thing only...after that is solved, then maybe start chattering away about all of that other stuff. |

Just look for wires that says "IDE LED" or "IDE-0" or "HDD LED" or something to that affect. And also "POWER LED" and reverse them like bovon said. You arent going to harm anything by doing this. (By reverse I mean to turn each plug 180 degrees, not to swap the two plugs) |

ok ok..im looking the mobo maual, and it has where these wires are placed. Theres a system Power LED, System Warning Speaker LED
Reset Switch LEad
ATX Power Switch Lead
Hard Drive Activity Lead
Well i just looked at where they are, and from what i gathered from this maual, is that the one is set into the ATX, but it says it needs an ATX power supply, and i have no clue what power supply i have, and the other wires are in nothing, there just stuck somehwere in between. so ...and they are marked of course, and i put the power LED into the PRW slot, which is where it says it need the ATX power.
Do i plug the POWER into the "POWER LED" ? ((stupid ?) Also i know im kinda rambling on, it has for the power led, it has a +,-, and same for the IDE LED?
if you can make sence of what i wrote lol sorry.. |

My guess would be that "power" is the power switch rather than the power LED.
Normally one of them is two seperate wires that go on 2 non-adjacent pins, whereas the other is a single 2pin block. |
