what are some free alternatives to photoshop????? (im using win xp)

The one and only GIMP.
I use it almost every day for all my image editing needs. I've also used it to create graphics for websites, etc. Very nice, and the free-est of the free.

i guess u dont have alternative to photoshop.
can i ask u why do u want alternative to god like photoshop application?
