What many people don't realize is that Paypal is goverened by the same rules as banks and banks can freeze accounts to if they want, I just think that because Paypal is used by people who are more "wired" that you read more horror stories on the internet about them than you do your local bank. As well as they probably have more members than most local banks. |

I been using PayPal for a couple of years without a problem yet, at times prety often. I have been using the EFT feature where it transfers funds directly out of my personal checking account to pay for purchases like on Ebay. I have been getting emails confirming "payment recieved" within hours of submitting a "pay now" order. I just got to remember to deduct it from my check book.
As to your question, WHY would you want to store money at PayPal anyway???????
Hey if it's cause you want to use the "Send Money" feature on PayPal to pay someone, you still don't have to add money to the PayPal account to do that. I've paid a few transactions I ordered by phone thru PayPal's "Send Money" feature. Never had to "add funds" though.

I have received several thousand dollars through PayPal. This has been mainly from traders forums like the one here. Much of that money went right back into buying things from other traders. http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/f10/index.html
The amount of money "earned" really depends on selling items. Unless you find things to sell that "fell off the back of a truck," you need to buy stuff somewhere. Here's some (obvious) advice to make money: Buy low, sell high. |

Paypal is safe, easy and I have had no personal problems with it thus far. You can transfer funds from ur Credit Card or directly from ur bank account.
What I don't like about it is the stupid fees that they charge you every time you handle a transaction. I know it is just another way for eBay to make money but seriously... |

I have used PAYPAL for some time and use the instant tranfer option to pay for goods/services. The only problem I have had is Tigerdirect lost the transfer in their system and did/could not find it for a week. Eventually it was staightened out.
