| Folders
I did a new install of Windows XP but the old 'My Documents' folders still remain. I cannot delete them as they say access is denied (because they were computer administrator folders). Im wondering if there is any way i can delete these folders? |

So...the administrator's account is deleted...if it isn't try deleteing it and select delete all files and folders when it asks you...
If its not...do you have the same exact account name as b4...you might have to create another admin account and then delete the other account and select delete all files and folders (back up the crap that you want just in case...but ne ways) Hope this helps

Take ownership of the offending folder (right click on folder->properties->security->advanced->ownership), grant yourself full rights to it and delete. |

You need to do 'cacls <profilefolder> /T /G everyone:F' when you're in c:\documents and settings
It should then ask you for confirmation and then list all the directories it processes.
//edit:
For another way, see here-> http://x220.minasi.com/forum/topic.a...D=11101끐
(it includes the usage of subinacl, a ms reskit tool)
