Those must not be US prices, those ram and vid card prices are outragious.?

I might recommend getting a Waterblock that can be used on both K7 and K8 in case you want to upgrade in the near future.

Since you asked what I'd change, The 6800GT would be my choice for a card I'm going to overclock. With a full 16 pipes there is more potential gain from a good OC.

Im from canda thats y the prices are that . The x800 pro im getting will soft mod into a x800 xt pe . I wannta get the best cpu water block i can for my 2400+m I dont care about upgradde when i get a 64 it will be the top of the line wb for that cpu .(just got a raise that y i dont care abou tthe $$ )
also i was thinking about the gainward 6800 but 1 game made the diff for me . cs source liek dubble the fps , cs is my fav game and i know i will like the new 1 . and on ORB all the top slots are x800's not 6800's

I haven't looked lately but I don't remember any way to softmod an X800pro to XT. Isn't there a different number of pipes 4 of them having been physically cut on the X800pro?

on a vivo cards the pipes are just disabled like on the 9500's
