Again, this stuff is stupid.
I wonder if the video card companies don't entice these 3DMark folks to come out with these benchmarks. I mean, morons will go out and buy a new card if they don't reach their desired score.

Stupid? Maybe, but its become more than a score. Sims 2, Doom 3, and HL@ are changing this. Besides....ths stuff is amazing....

Truth is, my system had no trouble with Doom3, and will have no trouble with HL2. This stuff is malarkey.

As I iterated before, a GFX 5900 128MB.
September 29th, 2004, 10:38 PM #35
Wow. My score really sucks.
XP2100+ @ 2700+ (13x166mhz)
512mb of PC2700 (133mhz)
FX5900 NU 128mb
DOes anyone know why score sucks so much? Also, I couldn't run my RAM at 166mhz alongside with my FSB because 3dmark05 would restart my comp in the middle of the first CPU test when I had it set at 166mhz.One by one the penguins steal my sanity.

Does it matter, Bizzy? If you want to brag, you may as well get a whole new system.
You know as well as I, these really don't mean a thing. This benchmark may be valid a year from now.

Hmm seems that the 5900's are not doing so well.
80gig mxtr hdd
Is the 9800 really better than the 5900? The real bingo has a faster processor and twice the ram and I beat him by 100%.
