My fastest delivery was when I order my Cooler Master Stacker case back in 2005. I ordered it from Amazon and it was at my door in 8 hours. I had ordered it that morning and it was there right before dinner and it was free shipping.
Although it did not have to travel that far. It shipped from Houston which is only a 3 hour drive away.
And I've had items shipped from Newegg, Amazon, and Tigerdirect that took longer than what was guaranteed.
Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. From my experience though, it is usually the shipping companies fault if an item is late.
