create memory?

well i had an interesting night.... i was adding things to my IPAQ's 256 mb memory card and i got an error telling me i was out of space. i checked the storage card through my pocket pc and it told me i had 146mbs left... when browsing the card i found two oddly named files that i could not delete (and they looked big, but my ppc couldnt determine the size). i went over to my friend's dorm room and put my card in his laptop (its an SD card). when i opened the card up, it only showed those two crazy files and none of my other files... when i looked at the sizes, one was 10mb (not too bad) and the other was 4,032,128 kb.... almost 4 gigs! i dont know how i did it, but apparently i had 4 gigs of info (unusable) on a 256 mb card.... needless to say i had to reformat the card, but it was still crazy

That can't be right. No way that file is actually 4 gigs. It sounds like maybe the card is having trouble being read/written to and is causing errors.
