Drive Imaging question

Can anyone put into lay terms or give links to what drive imaging/ghosting is and how it works?

imaging or ghosting is placing an exact copy of a partition or drive on another drive.
most of the time it is used to set up multiple identical systems, or when installing a new or larger hard drive.

Search "Norton's Ghost", both here and Google; by the time someone types it out, you'll have more info than you need...

Also, search posts by JohnProphet.

Norton Ghost is a great application for that. It's like copying hard drives from an ISO.
