Aol Communicator problem...

Ok I just downloaded and installed AOL communicator as AOL said that they cannot assist me with configuring Outlook Express as it was always forcing my main AOL to loose its connection each time it tried to retrieve mail from my hotmail accounts. I asked AOL why and they said "sorry we do not support Outlook and so cannot assist you!!"

They suggested that I remove Outlook Express and use AOL Communicator instead as it works the same as Outlook Express and that I could use it to get all my hotmails.. So happily I spent an hour downloading the 18meg file on my poor dial up connection and after I installed it I called AOL to ask them if they could help me with the 'incoming hotmail server' address.. they said "sorry we do not support hotmail and so cannot assist you!!" Hmmm, Great.

Anyway AOL Communicator does support hotmail (imap and pop3) accounts but AOL would not tell me if my hotmail was a pop3, an IMAP, or a http account nor would they give me the server details.. so does anyone have any experience in setting up AOL Communicator to retrieve their hotmail content? I have messed with it all night but still cannot get it to retieve my hotmail stuff. I called AOL for the 5th time and told them... they said well "at least you can get to your AOL email" which is really retarded as I already have AOL 9 and that email works fine!! 8) They simply refused to see that I want Communicator to get my dam hotmail content not AOL emails twice!!

So.. I need to know if hotmail is a pop3 or IMAP email and then does anyone know the 'inbound SMTP server' address for hotmail and the "outbound pop host" too..

Phew..

Thankyou
