Question
ATI card removed, NVidia installed: no sound
My son has a P4 running Win2000 Pro. The motherboard has a Via chip. He replaced the ATI AGP card with an NVidia card using the latest drivers. He now has no sound.

Device manager looks ok. Any help/ suggestions would be appreciated...

U might of deleted the sound drivers on accident, if its a sound card just reinstall the sound, but if its onboard u can download the drivers from the website of the company ur motherboards is made from.

Already re-installed sound drivers without improvement.

Any other ideas?
