Im building my first PC. I heard that the processor Im gonna use overheats often. Since I'm gonna do a science fair project on the overheat problem, I think its a good idea to get a water cooling system. Im totaly clueless though. Can anybody recommend a good water cooling system??
Thanks. |

Do you want the best bang for the buck, or something a little more powerful?
Also, what system will you be using it on? |

That's what I got, my friend recommended it to me. I was convinced when I read a very good review on it. It's by no doubt the best WC kit in it's class. It even comes with water blocks for the CPU and GPU. Note that the whole system is internal and it will take one 5.25" bay and one 80mm fan slot for the radiator.
It's really good since you will also be able to use it for your graphics card at no additional cost |

I have 2 of those systems for my PIII systems. They run great, but the second Rad with the fan should be mounted with a silencer pad. It gets quite noisy, if you mount it directly to the case. All in all its a great, low budget cooler IMO!

Well the problem I had was I mounted the rad to the rear 80mm case vent, then mounted the fan to the rad. The Rad would vibrate against the case, and make it quite annoying. Thats why I suggested the Silencer Pad. |
