Okay, I have been thinking about getting some more RAM, but I think it would be pointless to buy some more only to have to buy different RAM if and when I get a 64-bit setup. I was just wondering if the RAM I have now 1GB (512x2) PC3200 will work with the 64-bit processor and motherboard setup.
Thank you. |

I was just making sure I don't need 64-bit-specific RAM; if they even have such an animal. |

Not that I know of, but if you want to overclock, i'd get something better than pc 3200. My RAM, good corsair, would not go above 230 FSB, not bad at all but I could go higher with say pc 4000. |

Nope, the bit size of ram changes with density. More mem cell per chip higher bit. IT has no relation to the # of cpu registers. The NB which is integrated in A64 handles that interfacing part.

I have no idea yet, but I know eventually I'll upgrade - maybe this summer time.
By then, there should be different chips out anyway. |
