Problem With Cd drive
When I first reformatted my HD, my CD drive loaded cds fast. But now that my HD is almost full ( around 500 Megs left out of a 10 gig drive...I know, im uprgrading soon), games and audio cds take a really long time to load...is it a storage problem? That's what i think, at least...

probably... I think it tries to cache the data on the hd... but since there isn't enough, it accesses the cd directly..
not sure though

Is there anyway that I can set the cache of the CD drive so that it accomidates (sp?) my hd space?

Try clearing out some space on your HDD (C drive, if you have it partitioned), even if you need to burn some files to CD-R. Also, run disk cleanup and disk defragmenter, for the hell of it.
