Temp Files folder
Hi,
I have just started running the cleaner and was amazed at the amount of crap it dumps every time I run it.
I thought as it had dumped some 400 mb the first time it would have cleaned out everything, this morning I got a Virus Alert from Symantec that an attachment coming in was infected with a virus.
CC988.tmp carrying the W32.Sober.l@mm!enc
When I looked to see more about it I found that my Docs & Settings/Admin/Local Users/ Temp Folder has nearly 1 gig ( 814mb)of things in it including the temp Internet files folder, application data folder, another one called Temp and History Folder.
Can I delete the entire contents of the of the first Temp folder ( the one after Local Users)without knackering anything?Last edited by nodnerb2; December 6th, 2004 at 05:43 AM. Reason: added Virus name etc
Cheers
