Ok, right now I am building my computer, I need a little help though, so far I have done
Installed CPU and fan
Ram
installed mobo into case
we have put the graphics card in but what do we put into the card?
The guide only shows the 6800 pics to install it, I have the 6600GT AGP so it only has 1 slot to for power supply, so what?
thanks |

I'm not fully understanding your question...
You plug in your graphics card into your agp slot. Then plug the molex connector from the power supply into the end of the graphics card. Then the monitor on the other end...? What's the problem? I'm not trying to be a smart*** or anything, just trying to understand your situation. |

I need to know what to plug into the card, the power supply has alot of cords + I looked into the manual to see what PSU cord I need to plug into the card, and it only shows picture of the 6800 (2 cords are connected) I have the AGP 6600GT and it only has 1 place to plug the psu into. |

It's the 4-pin molex connector.
It doesn't matter which one you use.

i will be building my first pc in a few weeks and I wish you luck ... I got a really good magazine guide at barns and nobles called "The PC Building Bible" from Pc Gamer. It just came out and they explained all the parts and their functions, as well as current and future technologies, and then did a detailed step by step walkthrough (with lots of pics). It covered everything from preping the case, to the installation of parts, to the bios, and then system/driver updates. They also listed parts based of budgets (low, mid, and high) as well as give advice on how to run farcry, doom3, and hl2 at optimal levels on different budgets. It was an awesome purchase for me, and I have learned alot from it. Its like 120 pages (i think only 3 or 4 pages were ads for premade pcs ... which was weird :P) and it was $9.99. It will help me out alot when i start building. Go check it out if you can ... or simply google intall guides. |

Yes, any molex connector will do. Here's one pictured below. And since your saying there is only room for one connector, then that's all you need. Do not worry about what they have pictured. It's just an example for reference.
Good luck with your build! |

Ok I have another question, the front panes of my case has USB and a fan built in, here is a link to my case http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...105-118&depa=1
my motherboard is k8n neo 2 platinum, the problem is there are multiple very small wires that I dont know where they go, the manual is not too much help, when I got my case and saw those wires I knew they would be difficult to figure out and yea they are.
thanks for the help so far too |

Youll have to look in your mobo manual and match up the pins from the case to where they go on the mobo, i've found that taping them together in the right order helps before putting them on the mobo.
