If it does not show in the BIOS you can't format it. Try changing your jumpper settings on the drive to get it to show up.

When you go into my computer, does it show up in the Hard Drive Section? if it does, and it is not your main OS Hard drive you can right click it and go: Format......Full Format.

What brand & model is the hard drive?
Let us help clarify the jumper settings issue. |
