Hotmail problems

Okay so I reformatted my hard drive this afternoon. I was able to log into MSN Messenger and hotmail once I did it.... now I cant. Ever since I restarted it. I tried re-installing MSN Messenger, and it still doesn't work. The toruble shoot feature says my Messanger is fine.

Any help? Thanks.

I'd give it a day. Hotmail is often glitchy.
Generally at any given time I am unable to log into at least one of my hotmail accounts, but it switches around which ones wont let me in.

I'm sure it has something to do with my machine. Friends of mine can log into MSN without any trouble last night, but me and my roomate are having the same problem. When you log into hotmail, it takes you to the white "Page Cannot Be Displayed", page.

Its too coinicdental that after reformatting I can't, and the people who use this computer can't, get into their messanger or hotmail.

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

Also I get the same problem when trying to log into online banking.

I'm stumped??

Are you running a Firewall? If so, disable it and try to log in again.

Well my roomate seems to think we arent connected to the internet. He said he went through something and it said "no connection detected". When he went through help, or whatever on the computer.

But I can go to any other page... like these ones... I can use the internet same as before. Only password sites. But I can log into Yahoo... which confuses me.

Anyways, I have no idea whats wrong...
