What's wrong with google?

Something strange seems to be happening to my google.

When I try www.google.co.uk or www.google.com I get redirected to the Russian site www.google.ru

Strange.

Now the UK site is not found and the .com site takes me to Russian.

Perhaps it's spyware.

Hi,

Are you accessing the net from your normal place in the UK?

I find that when travelling with my Laptop I often get directed to the local country Google site which can be a pain in the ass to put it mildly.

Since first posting I tried clicking on your links, I have my home page on this machine locked at Google.co.uk so that works ok, Google.com takes me to Google.fr( I am connected to Wannado ISP in France) Google.ru takes me there.

I usually connect to Google with no problems.

I tried this and it works for me to get to Google.com rather than .fr, it'll probably stop when I dump all the cookies so I should go and find that one and save it.

I solved this the old way.

By restarting my computer.
