AVG Anti-Virus
Mozilla Firefox
Spywareblaster
Ad-aware
Windows Sp2

Is that good enough to keep my comp safe from all sorts of junk on the internet? I also have Norton 2005 but i dont know if i should put that in.

do you have a firewall other than the windows firewall? if not you need one.

as i understand it, spyware blaster only works with internet explorer...........( i may be out of date on that one).

don't run more than one firewall, they might interfere with each other...........

spybot; search and destroy and Ccleaner are useful apps too.

i like outpost...............used it when i had aol................no probs, very easy to set up.

zonealarm, tiny, kerio, sygate all have a free version of their firewalls .........be sure to turn off windows ICF if you install another firewall.

a lot of people here like AVG, i haven't tried it.

IMO, AVG's about as good as free anti-virus gets, and also Sygate is a very good free firewall.
