User account question?

Hi

There is one thing that seems weird to me. I have my user acount protected with password and if I don't do anything with my computer the PC will always go to the mode where you must enter the password to get back into Windows again. It was so for some time. Problem is now the things have changed and if I don't do anything with PC computer still stays on the Windows screen and it doesn't go into log on screen. Is there something wrong and how can I set this.

It is also that some of the programs like Agnitum Outpost firewall doesn't start automatically like it used to when I first switch on the computer.

What changed my settings?

in u r question u not mention which os u using,

but if u r using windows 2000 or xp.

type gpedit.msc at run, in that local setting-security setting-account loclout policy if define any values please remove that, than close it .

try it will work.

Santosh I am using Windows XP. I tried to type gpedit.msc in run but it said that Windows could not find it.

Steve I have this option checked that you mention but it still doesn't work.
