    Bad Power Supply?????

I turned my computer off for two days straight (out of town), so when I get back in town, I try to turn it on and it acted like it wanted to then just turned off 2 sec after hitting the power button. Is that the power supply or motherboard?

    Thanks
    Mat

Check to make sure your cards and ram are seated properly and that your cpu fan spins first. If the heatsink is seated well and everything else is normal then you'd have to guess the power supply is toast.

Just thinking that if your pc is usually on 24 hours and you turned it off and turned down the furnace to go out of town the temp difference could have shifted a card. My Audigy card would pop out alot like that.

    hmmm

If you didn't add any hardware or anything, then it should not be the power supply. Unless its failing but i am not srue about that

Maybe the power button got stuck or anything like that. Check for that

It will act like it will want to turn on, but nothing. Seems to me when it gets hot it shuts off. All the fans are turning until it shuts off.

Well I'd clear bios, take everything out but the ram and video, reseat the cpu heatsink and if that fails start looking for a new psu.
