| If only source looked better
I was playing Counter Strike Source on a freinds computer and it looked amazing and i hadnt play CS since 1.5 so i was interested and got it. Unfortunalty my gfx card isnt great ... its horrible. So Im looking at either getting Sapphire Radeon™ 9600XT 128MB or the ATI RADEON™ 9600XT 128MB DDR. I know they arent the best but i am a student and my funds are low right now. What is the best? to me they are the same card but is there a difference i should know about before putting the money on it. Thanx |

they should be the same card. They both have the same processor and memory and are based on the same design. I would check out the price and bundled items that come with it and decide based on that.
Oh one thing I just thought of. Check that the clock and memory speeds are the same...sometimes they are a little different for some reason. |

Those cards are exactly the same, and a 9600 XT plays CS flawlessly.

I have the Sapphire 9600XT 128MB and it runs HL2 everything high at 800x600, sorry I don't play source though :s
