USB Flash Memory Stick.... in the washer

So, I got done with my laundry today and pulled my brand new Ki8ngmax 128mb memory stick out of the bottom of the dryer. Great..... good thing I bought two, right?

Oddly enough, it still works. We'll see how long it lasts now, but I thought that was pretty amazing in itself. I copied all of my data off of it just in case though.

hmmm i have put a memory card from my ps2 threw the wash and it still works. just let it sit in the sun for a while so that it is totaly dried out. other then that it might have a shorter life then the other stick you have but it would still last a while.

Cool

I did the same thing, had a 128Mb stick when they first came out. Forgot to take it outta my pocket and ended up with one very clean stick... It lasted only for a few weeks after that, and died a horrible death, but luckily I had the bright idea of backing it all up after the 'washer incident'..... It cost a bloomin fortune too
