    capturing video for mini dv

     
    I have a ATI 9800 all in wonder pro with composite impute
    What a good program to capture the video from my mini dv cam? from the composites.

    Firewire

    Keep it digital.

    If you use your AIW, you are going to analog and then back to digital.

    Virtual Dub should be able to capture for you but like Siliconjunkie said, I would want to stay digital if I can Ulead Videostudio also offers nice video editing and allows you to capture video

    I have USB, I want a program to capture the video and audio and make it a avi.

    I tried Vdub and the audio doesn't work.

    make sure your line in and such are not muted in the windows sound options.

    Didnt you get like a cut down version of some ulead software with your camera? If so just use that to capture the file of the cam through firewire.
