Keyboard number lock not working
Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A. Number lock light is on. Number keys do not work. Press number lock key on or off. Computer internal speaker goes off. Any ideas? Either way, numbers will not work. Switched keyboards (identical make) and still the same. Have Microsoft Intellitype Pro 2.2 installed. Any ideas?
Numbers at top of letter keys still works.

The fact that both Kbs have the same actions points to the windows settings, but I havent seen a setting like this in Win so I am not sure.
If you have a dos floppy try that see if you get the same actions, if you dont have a dos floppy try this, as you start to boot, press F8 and select safe mode, see if that changes the settings.
Do you have a second computer? Try the keyboards on the other computer, if the Kb work properly on the second computer, then the problem is in your settings not either of the Kb.They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

The final legacy of the United States will be that in the end liberalism shamed & destroyed the heritage of this great nation. How sad as I see no turning back. When in Rome ..

Thanks for all your replies. Seems I am not going to let my Son play Runescape!!!Somehow a mousekey function was enabled. Never saw anything like that. I was in a hurry to go into work and somehow overlooked the mouse key setting icon in the tray.Came home from work with a better attitude than when I left. Was a little more awake.Just re formatted the computer yesterday and was scratching my head this morning.Work hard to become not to acquire. It's always the simple things that confuse and evade us. Glad everything worked out though.

I had the exact same thing happened to me and my Runescape playing son was to blame! Thanks for helping me solve this perplexing problem.
