    Notepad

I am still trying with no success to open a profile I have which was sent to me Email and is in Notepad I can open it but it is not readable. For instance, I think I could make some sense of it if I would spend a couple of days trying to pick out words and writing them longhand. I would be glad to forward this to some genius for help. With all the knowledgable people on the forum I am sure there is someone out there to help me Please let me hear from you

I have to admit I am very stupid about all of this stuff and I need step by step ways to solve my problem. What I received is a couple of resumes of people I want to hire for a job. When I click on their name it will open but it has all types of differnt letters and in between I might find a few readable items. From there in I am lost. All of the info is there but I can't access it. Frustrating. Sorry I am so dumb but that's why we have this forum for guys like me.

So you have an e-mail with attachments? Most likely, you should try opening the file in Word (not Notepad or Wordpad). Word will probably open 90% of the current file types for word processing documents that most people would use to create a resume.
