Need help buying a new laptop

hey my friend is looking to buy a laptop...she basically wants to spend like $1000 witout tax and basically shes gonna use it for like light games like some of them old ones like roller coaster tycoon and the sims 1 and stuff and maybe some new games and also dleding and watching movies and anime and thats basically it other then some homework and stuff....she needs help finding a good site for ppl in canada that will sell cheap for like ok stuff....like she also mostly wants the laptop to look nice like the case i guess..lol...and she dont need like ultimate computer but somin good also wit wireless internet and a burner in it..thx for the help
