I want to put a 3rd hard drive in my computer, except my case only has 2 HD bays (which are currently filled with, you guessed it, hard drives). If you're wondering, it's a decently old computer, thats why it's so lacking.
Anyways, I have two questions for you people.
1) I can put the hard drive in the floppy drive section (which also fits hard drives), however, the screws dont line up perfectly like in the bays designed for hard drives. Is it okay to mount it with only 1 screw?
2) I can also put the hard drive into a 5.25" (I think that's the size) bay (the one for the CD-ROMs). However, again the issue of 1 screw comes up. Is it safe to put a hard drive in a place that's too big for it, and will one screw support its weight? Is it better to put it in the larger bay with one screw or the smaller one (I'm thinking smaller here but correct me if I'm wrong).
Thanks in advance.
