Can't delete! help!!!

I have a Multi Cd-keygen for battle field that I was in the middle of downloading, when I stop it.

now, even though I uninstalled bf a long time ago,I can't delete the destop icon

the cd gen was never installed so I don't understand why I can't delete it

it says this when I try to delete it : Connot delete Multi Cd-keygen for battle field:It is being used by another or person or program

Close any programs that might be using the file and try again

Can you sign on as admin or another user with admin privlages and delete it in documents and settings?

stroyal realizes that. The problem is you can't always delete files from the active user profile. So by creating another admin account and logging in to it, then drill down to the file located in your original admin account, you should be able to delete it.

If safe mode didn't work. Also I don't know what permissions are set on the file. I can't tell you for sure it will work. I've done it and it worked for me.
