it is atx's "succesor", i think intel developed it, and it supposed to be thermally superior to atx, meaning better temps overall

thanks guys. how the air is supposed to flow from a fan over the cpu, then over the chipset, then head on over to the graphics card, then swing by the memory...etc...it just seems like sorta wishful thinking and maybe wont be that effective.
i dono, im probably totally wrong but oh well.Macbook Pro 15"

It's Intel's attempt to strongarm the rest of the industry into dealing with their runaway thermal problems.

Wow, hahah! I think my Optiplex is BTX, it looks just like that pic.
I think a lot of POS PC's like Packard Bell's used that config, I have a PB in my room, I have to turn it upside down to work on it. The only reason it is not in the trash, is cos it works.Athlon 4400+ XP/ASUS - M2N-E SLI Athlon/2GB Kingston 800 MHz DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (512 MB)/20x Lite-On DVD+-RW
Sound Blaster Live 24 bit/Digidesign DIGI-001 (Works great still)/Pro Tools 6.4

I have my ATX motherboard setup in BTX form factor. It lower my temps 5°C after the change. My CPU is at 39°C 100% load.

I can still remember days past Watch Monsters University Online And the sad thing is, Don was actually acting out for the right reasons this time. Ted has it in his head the Don is set on besting...
