Video Prob. Black & White

ok, i almost hate to post this on here, but i have already tried xbox-scene and no one seems to be able to help/want to help.

First off, i have a modded box running evox. Everything has been fine for over a year now. all my backed up games have played flawlessly.

here is the problem. the evox dash comes up and everything seems normal. however, when i go to play a game, dvd, or run any program the video is in black and white. This problem seems to be out of nowhere and i have never had any other issues with the box before this. I do have a switch on my box to turn the mod off. if i flip the switch to load the ms dash and play a game or dvd from there everything is normal.

does anyone have something i might be able to try or experienced a similar problem?

anyway, please help! having black n white video makes the mod useless.

NTSC/PAL format problem, perhaps? Possibly the evox mod is setting the wrong country somewhere, so you get the wrong tv standard or refresh rate.

ok awesome. thanks for the help paul. i switched the video setting back to default from pal.

now my brother tells me he switched a setting to play a pal game lol. would have been nice to know that before.
