Active Desktop?
I recall that you used to be able to download Active Desktop, to convert your Windows 95 desktop. Is this download still available, if so - WHERE?!

Assistance is appreciated.

you can dl the first one, it says it has active desktop....all i could find in a short amount of time.

active desktop for windows 95 was in the internet explorer 4.0 upgrade. there was an option when upgrading to install the active desktop

umm why would you want it?
I understand wanting the quicklaunch bar, but not active desktop blehHelicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

If you have IE5x's installation files on HD, run this line from the Start/ run line in W95:
Path\ie5setup.exe /c:"ie5wzd /e:IE4Shell WIN /I:Y"

Thanks for the advice guys! I couldn't properly get IE 4.0 installed (go figure), so I used BFlurie's advice.
