I had my Inspiron 9100 laptop randomly die on me last night. I was playing a song, the screen went blank, I heard static, but the computer was still on. It's like the hard drive wasn't in there and there was just a blank screen with the fans going and the power light on. I turned it off, then turned it back on and everything was fine. This only happens if I play sound through the onboard speakers, which leads me to believe there's a bad sound card. Soooo, I need a program that will test all the components of my PC for failure.
