Just the one for the router. Tell the second computer that it is on a LAN and the computer you install the router stuff to is to update the router and get it online.

I have it and it sucks. You'll regret getting it.
Anyway, don't use their lame ass software. Just plug the modem into the router.
On the router, go to the gateway IP (usually 192.168.1.1)
It will ask for a username and password.
If the router is new, the username will be blank and the password will be 'admin'.
Login and go to the setup tab. Make the connection type PPPOE and type in your email address and your email password.
Click your 'status' tab and press connect.
Whallah, you have internet!

Whallah, you have internet! | Yep. As for SBC sucking, I have their DSL Pro 3 mb down thinger and yeah it sucks. The moment my contract is up I'm going back to Comcast. Gee I wonder if I'll miss the bandwidth throttling and lil fascist dictator dsl modem.

We have DSL Pro with Yahoo DSL.
Ours works great! Far faster and better performance than anything else in the area, mind you, cable here sucks!
We run 6 computers with a switch, and found the easiest way to set them up was to put the CD into each one and load the software. When you get to the options it asks you if the computer you are installing to is the first one. Answer yes to the first, no to any others.
Once your computer reboots, it asks what you want to install. The only thing we installed was the extras. DO NOT install their browser. It plain sucks.
Its easy to do.
Hope this helps.
