Yeah get a 3200 Venice and OC it. the Asus is nice board loads of features good for OCing and you have the SLI option if you want it.

Can you guys recommend a power supply that would be suitable for my video card and fit nicely into my X-Superalien case?
ThanksTodd

Thermaltake, seasoinc, Tagan and enermax are all good PSUs get one of them 400w or over and you'll be fine.
Don't go by the wattage on cheap PSUs there's a hell of diffrence between a 400w Q-tech and a 400w enermax

OCZ Modstream is a great looking psu, and it has quite a bit of power.

Why are dual-cpu systems cool?

Nevermind that it only gives 10%-30% bonus performance,
it's cool.

One of the system requirements for my 7800GTX is that a PCI Express supplementary power connector be available to hook it up. I don't mean to sound stupid, but what would this be included with? The power supply?

New power supplies have PCI-E connectors (6-Pin), though most video cards that require it come with a 6-pin PCI-E to 4-pin molex adapter, like the one in this.

SLI is there to upgrade! Sure if we all had enough money, every time something new comes out, we would all throw our computers out, and get brand new ones, but do you know many people that can do that? Didn't think so.

IMO
1. Dont go SLI
2. You could go MSI, Asus or DFI.
3. Probably Ill go with more memory looking that you dont have a problem with money
4. Dont forget to get a GOOD PSU specially for the card. (heard 7800 eats a lot off power)
5. The rest looks cool.

All you really need for the 7800, is a 400w or so psu, it uses less power than the 6800 GT, and Ultra, and less than a lot of the FX series.
