| Sony DCR-DVD 92, Mini DVD, How do I play this in Media Player?
Just got Sony DCR-DVD 92, I like it but my media player is complaining it can't read it. Just wondering if anyone knows what codec/patches I should use to bring my media player up to standards of home dvd player  |

getting codecs to play dvds is very tricky since the mpeg2 codec is not free. Normally you either have to download VLC (which isn't completely legal) or buy a normal dvd-program like power dvd. | |

the kaaza codec package i heard has one, but i wouldnt touch that with a ten foot pole.

Agreed on VLC...you can try BSPlayer as well.
