    System Upgrade Help...

     
    Well I just got my paycheck of 532$ and well I was looking into a new Video Card, RAM, Harddrive, CD Drives I pretty have it all picked out my current motherboard is a MSI k8t Neo platinum however its socket 759 but ohwell I will live for now shouldnt bog me to much I also have a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ in it I was thinking of buying a PNY Geforce 6600GT 128mb AGP and I was wondering if when I get it will it run Half life really smooth? the reviews on this card said stuff like Farcry and UT2004 and well I wanna have a system that can play Hale Life smooth along with doom 3 and the soon to be Quake 4 thanks

    a 6600GT will run any game pretty darn well!
    a gig of ram total would be nice too
    and a dvd burner (they're like $40 )
    and maybe a extra 80-120GBs?

    wadaya think?
