I got a 5.1 surrounds sound system that I could use with my xbox. But I'm confused. How do I get 5.1 surround sound out of only the left and right audio cables (white, red)???
My subwoofer has 2 left/right (white/red) audio inputs and one other input (looks like a mouse or keyboard type input hole.) When I have that input selected the 5.1 light lights up, but not on the white/red inputs.
I hope somebody understands what I'm trying to say and could help out. I was thinking there may be a web page someone could point me to that may clear up my confusion, and educate me on 5.1 surround sound input types. (cables)
