Decent Barebones?

my computer croaked on me (motherboard went out). i'm pretty confident my harddrive, memory, video card...all that stuff is ok. so i figured i'd just get a barebones that comes with a new processor, motherboard, power supply, and case. because i have everything else. so would this be an ok system to get from tigerdirect?

i'm on a budget of about $150 since i'm flat flat broke, but want something to get me running, even if the thing only lasts me for 4 or 5 months right now..

just wanted to make sure this isn't a terrible deal or a huge mistake in getting this or wanted any suggestions. thanks!

Don't expect to get that rebate, but otherwise that should last you.

no rebates, only $153, and a M863G v3.0C SktA SiS 741 Audio/Video/LAN w/ AMD Pro3100A+ 2.0GHz and a 400-watt power supply and case.

Pro 3100A+ is a 3rd party overclocked Duron. Not that that's particularly a problem but it's not an Athlon anything. I'd go with the first one at 20 more even if you don't get the rebate.

oh cool, well thanks for the info on the duron and stuff, i'm clueless as to what those processors are just looking at the name, so i'll prolly stick with choice number A. and tigerdirect has been good to me in the past.
