sound card issue with windows 98 in vmware
ok. i'm sure this is an easy fix, but its 2 in the morning and i really have no ideas at the moment. sound card is integrated with the motherboard. the motherboard is a chaintech mpm800-3 http://www.chaintechusa.com/tw/eng/p...o=13&PISNo=315
now i'm in vmware and running under my windows 98 setup, i go and check the system devices and it lists the sound card as not having drivers installed for it. no i know that vmware has a setting for the soundcard, but my assumption is that i have to have the drivers installed in windows 98 for vmware to be able to figure it out. however, chaintech is so wonderful that they don't even have any drivers for thier on board stuff. bunch of jerks. makes me wonder why i went with chaintech anyways. any ideas? cause i'm fresh out.
